What Exactly is Happening?
The global temperature has risen about 2.12 degrees Fahrenheit since the late 19th century largely due to the industrial revolution and the way that human society has operated since.. The ocean has absorbed this heat and it is continuing to become warmer. Ice sheets are shrinking. Glaciers are retreating. There is decreased snow cover. Sea levels are rising.
